"i got this computer 29 days a go as of march-27-2009 is faster than my
hi performance computer made by another brand and i have put more
programs on it than my other computer with a bigger hard drive .
Everything is the same except one is a laptop and one is a desktop. This
computer is wonderfull good audio quality go wi-fi speed and good
battery life. No issues with is at all. THE BEST GRAPHICS EVER PUT ON A
LABTOP. large button to tun wi-fy radio on and off and light changes
color when off. A good computer that can replace a desktop. Convenient
for travelers, not slow like a tablet pc."

Great Laptop

"I have only had this laptop for a short while. I am a Freelance
photographer, working mainly front of stage so I use my laptop for
reviewing my pictures. As you can imagine I need a computer to be
reliable and robust as it does have to work in some weird places IE
under the actual stage the only place I can access and download the
pictures quickly, without having to gain access to the security office
all the time. So far I am very impressed with this machine, both with
it's speed and it's very good screen. When working with large picture
files it down loads very quickly from the camera the excellent screen
makes the pictures stand out. Any alterations to the pictures are made a
lot easier with this clarity. I do not usually edit on a laptop but with
this machine it is quite easy to make simple alterations in the field,
prior to me transmitting the pictures via the net. I imagine that having
the separate graphics card helps with the speed of this computer in
relation to handling large files, although not being a computer buff I
cannot say for certain just my opinion. I will be increasing the ram and
fitting a larger hard drive, although that is just for my work. This
computer works extremely well out of the box and should give it's owner
many happy years of fun.

"I added 4Gb of memory to this and it is one of my favorite laptops
i have a viao which works well but this compaq leaves it in the dust the
compaq is faster the screen is sharper and the speakers are awesome
this is one great computer"

"I got laid off and wanted a laptop for email, internet, etc. I was
surprised how much laptop was available under $500.00. The large screen
is great, setup was no problem, and it is packed with everything I
wanted and more. I certainly got a chuckle out of the Webcam of which I
was not familiar. My one complaint is the left mouse button (which you
use all the time) it is just not as receptive to my inputs as it seems
it should be."
